Celebrations of Diwali, the festival of lights. Our Diwali celebrations on November 1st, 2024, were nothing short of spectacular, radiating incredible energy and excitement throughout the day. The ladies who attended truly relished their participation in the festivities, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with laughter and joy.
One of the highlights of the event was a creative diva painting activity led by our talented external workshop facilitator, Ms. Veena Devi. She guided participants in designing beautiful clay divas, which are traditional oil lamps used during Diwali. This hands-on experience was particularly enjoyable, allowing attendees to express their artistic flair. Everyone was thrilled to take home their painted divas as well as an assortment of Diwali treats, making for a memorable experience.
Our guest list included distinguished individuals from the Sikh Sports and Cultural Community Centre Mr. Tejpal Singh Mangat (Chair) and Committee members, Satwant Lotta Baljinder Sahota, Daljeet Renu and Administrator, Santosh whose presence added to the warmth and spirit of the celebration. Overall, the celebration was a wonderful blend of creativity, camaraderie, and cultural tradition, leaving everyone looking forward to the next year’s festivities.
