Eligibility criteria for APNA DAYCARE

Eligibility for receiving day care will be determined by an assessment which you can request from your local Council.

Needs assessment

This will establish what your individual care and support requirements are, and whether you are entitled to any support from your Local Authority. A support plan will be put together for you which you will be able to agree to.

Carers assessment

These are available to all Carer’s to assess what support may be available to them to help look after both themselves and the person they care for.

Financial assessment

This will assess your financial situation and whether you are eligible for funding from your Local Authority to help pay for the day centre. If you are savings are below £23,250, you are most likely to qualify for our services.

Private self-funding option

Sometimes your loved ones may want to support an elderly member of the family to access the daycare service. In this case, either they or you can fund your stay at daycare at APNA. You can choose the number of days that you would like to receive care and are welcome to contact us to discuss the options for a competitive support package.

“I arranged for an APNA’s respite carer whilst I attended a family function, it gave me peace of mind that my mom wasn’t alone whilst I was away”. I enjoyed myself that was after a long time.
